The short version
- Your entries live on your iPhone and in your private iCloud. We can't see them.
- There are no Inner Gold accounts.
- We count anonymous usage, never what you write.
- Apple handles payments. We never see your card.
- No ads, no tracking across apps, no selling data.
What Inner Gold stores, and where
Everything you create in Inner Gold is stored on your iPhone: events, goal ladders, cue words, rehearsal scripts, journal entries, debriefs, Confidence Bank highlights, affirmations and both boards.
If iCloud is on, Inner Gold syncs that data through Apple's CloudKit to the private database in your own iCloud account. That database belongs to you. Inner Gold can't read it, and there is no Inner Gold server that keeps a copy.
Photos
Photos you add to your Vision board or an event are saved with the rest of your Inner Gold data, on your iPhone and in your private iCloud. Inner Gold only receives the photos you choose. It doesn't read the rest of your library.
No accounts
Inner Gold has no sign-up and no login. The app never asks for your name, email address or phone number.
If you email us, for example to ask for a TestFlight invite or for support, we use your address only to reply to you and to send your invite. We don't add it to a mailing list or share it.
Analytics
To learn which parts of Inner Gold help, we count anonymous product events, such as finishing a rehearsal or opening the Confidence Bank. We use TelemetryDeck, an analytics service built for privacy.
- Each install gets a random identifier, which is hashed before it's sent.
- Signals contain no personal data and no free text. Nothing you type is ever included.
- No advertising identifiers, no fingerprinting and no tracking across apps or websites.
- We don't sell or share this data for advertising.
Purchases
Subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Apple tells the app whether your subscription is active so Inner Gold can unlock it. You can manage or cancel your subscription in Settings at any time.
Notifications
Reminders for Hype & Prep, Debrief and game day are scheduled on your iPhone as local notifications. They aren't sent from a server, and their content never leaves your device.
Children
Inner Gold isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Your choices
- Turn iCloud sync off for Inner Gold in your iPhone's iCloud settings. Your data then stays on that device only.
- Export your journal as plain text from Me, then Settings, then Export my journal.
- Delete single items in the app, such as notes and board tiles.
- To erase everything, delete Inner Gold from your iPhone, then remove its data in Settings: tap your name, then iCloud, then Manage Storage.
